INITIAL POWER RANKINGS:

1. Stanford - the question is if he will choke in the playoffs

2. east - powered his team to be one of the best

3. AlciG - the re-addition of Arenas keeps him strong

4. Setterlund - last season was an aberration, but guys like Sheed/AI declining aren't

5. theman - championship window closing fast, always deep but seems to favour long-term competitiveness over championships

6. Kohanz - another deep team and perennial playoff-contender if not for injuries

7. bww - the window is slowly closing, but the man has won a title and made multiple Finals

8. hamncheese - the 07-08 championship may have been a bolt from the blue, but ham is still competitive.

9. sly - the 06-07 champion's resistance is slowly melting away as he leaves his team unchanged

Others:
Skai - Monta being back will slowly lift Skai back up

tkunit - devoid of picks, another year of rebuild required

YS - I miss being competitive

WB - team sucks, but the lottery picks haven't been made

insfo - the poor Yao owner. Huge doubts over his competitiveness, especially also being the T-Mac and Bynum owner. Things looked so good for him not so long ago.

Like the rankings. A choke in the playoffs would not just be a choke, it would be an ultra mega choke. I assume most people would agree that my roster is even better this year.

Jordan...I think your assessment is about right for my team. Ive decided to go ultra young, but I'll probably change my mind by September.

Building through the draft seems tough since most lotto teams need to draft a top 50'ish player in order to significantly improve. Although, the '09 lotto picks seem to be doing well in SL so far. Curry had a bad first game but lit it up the 2nd game. Jennings looks like a Marbury type with some nice stl numbers.

Lookout for TMac though .. this could be his year :D That said, losing Yao is devastating - can I add him to my IL now ??

Hey fellas, I'm looking to move into the top 6 picks of the draft. No one on my roster is untouchable. I can offer Josh Smith, Ray Allen, Ron Artest, Chauncy Billups, Rasual Butler, Marcus Camby, Jason Kidd, etc.

Shoot me an offer if you want to talk deal: bwettengel at swlaw dot com

Other Commish adds/drops:

insfo - adds T-Mac, drops Jordan
ham - adds Brand and Dunleavy, drops Barea and Bonner
Kohanz - adds Al-Jeff, drops Fred Jones
east - adds Chandler, drops Warrick
theman - adds Redd, drops Webster and Gallo (from the IL)

When exactly did I do this?

When was cut down day? I though it was closer to the draft.

Draft him. After he misses 5 games move him to the IL.

You didn't. It was done for you because you missed the deadline.

Looks like we could have our very first 'Ricky Rubio' situation: Nate going to Greece?
