Hey guys, made some pretty gutsy trade offers...check your team pages. Anyone looking to add depth, I need to make room for a few guys.

Thanks Skai. Totally overpaid, but I had to. Such is business in a league as competitive as this.

I no longer have any 1st round picks until 2013. although, I'm sure I'll trade for some eventually.

What's the full trade? Are you sending Oden over to Skai?

No...it's worse. I'm sending Barbosa and Coady's 1st. Coady's first probably won't amount to much, and it's basically a throw-in, but I hate losing Barbosa. I mean, he's done nothing this year, and is stuck behind JRich, but I think he's a super sub and if he gets traded, he'll be crazy good. JJ Hickson will be good long term too, but I got him off waivers.

incidentally, if you want to send me Speights for future considerations (i.e. whenever we're able to trade our 2013 picks)...feel free.

Good trade for WB. I tried to acquire Okafor but with no luck. Good job. One question, why is skai dropping 2 players and trading one to get two players back. It seems weird.

Also, are people getting email notifications from Yahoo on pending trades because I am set up to get them but haven't for the last couple trades.

Skai is dropping two so Barbosa gets put on his roster. I am also set to receive notification but haven't received for the last few either.

I'm not getting any notifications either...

to answer the other question, he's dropping two because one of them is Shannon Brown, who we Laker Fans love, but who really isn't worth a roster spot fantasy wise, and the other, Duhon, is probably going to his IL (?)

But Barbosa is on the IL and Skai has no players on the IL so technically Barbosa could have been moved from WB's IL to Skai's.

That was my understanding.

We can still trade today right. So if someone wants to shoot me an offer feel free. I would like future picks, trade a vet for a younger player or combine a couple of mine into a single better player.

That's right...the Lakers weren't playing in a league where every other team had scraps. They just won all their championships when there was actually competition.
