Here's the guy who tried so hard last summer to lower the add-drop limit to 45 because, in his words, "streamers are filthy cheaters". Wow.

I'm pretty sure I went WAAAY out of my way to say that streamers weren't filthy cheaters. But I'm used to your debating style at this point (namely: attack and lie).

And yup, I'm going to use some moves against you. Not sure it will help with Irving down, but I'm definitely going to do it. You can't, because you've used up almost all your moves, so I'm not sure exactly what your point is. If it's bad to use moves, then you are at least twice as bad as I. If it's not bad, then what is your point?

I'm up for fewer moves if you are. I'll do 20 on a season next year if you like. Just vote for it with me if that's what you want.

I've never (repeatedly) made hostile insinuations against people who make a lot of moves and then did 15 moves myself within a single week. On the contrary, I've always been in favor of allowing a ton of moves and been entirely honest about my stance. That is all I have to say.

I'm fine with ZERO adds during the playoffs myself. Live or die with the team that got you there.

Of course not. You've just made repeated hostile insinuations against *me*, because I the audacity to propose a rule change that you didn't like.

Meanwhile your implication that I've made hostile insinuations against people who make a lot of moves is complete bull, like so much else that you've said on this topic. We've got two other managers who like to use a lot of moves and I don't have a bad word to say about them. I save that for the people who are liars and hypocrites. Namely, YOU.

I think I'm unlikely to make the playoffs even using the moves, but it seems that trying to do it anyway is the right thing. Especially with all the final spots so tightly contested. Gotta make people earn it.

If sly set his team you have a shoot
if you add that duncan is resting; young is d2d, knight d2d, milsap is d2d
if you know that info will lose 3-6 or 2-7 to the best team irng

We should lower it even further...1 move a week that's it.

1 move per week is way low
2 moves would be fine imo that 40moves less than the 45 that we have right now

i just dont understand the 6 moves we can make in the po but i dont make the rules

Wow, Playoffs this year are really close. Seems like spots 3-8 are all up for grabs...and of course, so is 9. I think some of us (ahem Fran and, well, me) benefited from a friendly last week. Still, Floppy and Fran could end up a tie for 8th, with Insfo at 7th and me at 6th with either a potential rematch against my old playoff rival, Gokce, or against the Commissar himself. I'd like my chances if this were December. Unfortunately, my guys are really slumping, so I'm not too fond of my chances.

I just like that Stattracker has me in 8th on the penultimate day. If I don't make it, at least I came darn close.

edit: oops, spoke too soon, fran still has players playing and is already back in 8th.

Ok, it's 9th place for me. Congrats to the top 8. I think with Kyrie this week I'd have had the handful of points, steals, and assists I needed to pick up 3 more cats and that would have shoved me in. Oh well, next year, ya?

The fact is this league is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions!

floppymoose wrote:Meanwhile, in the epic showdown bet between Jazzfan and I on who will be better this season, Marcus Camby or Anthony Randolph, it's coming down to the wire with AR at #364 and Camby at #382. These two titans of basketball are both still in it, as the bet will probably be decided by whether either of them plays 10 minutes in a game the rest of the way.

This is going to come down to the wire.

Camby: 377

jazz, we are doing cumulative basketballmonster value as of the end of the nba regular season, correct? Since it's close we might as well make sure we are agreed on the details.

What is this bet? I don't remember anything about it.
