The scores haven't been updated for me yet, but this doesn't seem very likely to me.

Updated now... WOW I really wasn't expecting this. I went to bed with Gasol and Duncan killing so I thought I was done for. Didn't think I could still win rebounds, and I figured I would need to take that + fg% + 1 of stl/blk.

Just didn't seem possible.

Wow! I sort of wanted to be the one to send Standford into retirement but I can't be bitter about an upset like this. Congrats to Ali G, although you're about to run into a freight train. Booyakasha!

Before everyone takes a major hiatus...let's talk about IL adds/drops etc. so we don't have a TheMan situation again this next year.

I propose that the time to add IL players back from the IL should be the day before the draft. That way there's no confusion. Last year, it was some time in April or May right? Can't remember totally, but it makes sense to wait until we're all back into it again when we start the draft. I think this also benefits people who aren't sure what will happen to the IL guys or their guys they added. It'll help trading situations too...as I'm sure many will want to trade draft picks, clear space, etc, and traditionally, in this league, it takes a while to get a trade done (one set of trade talks I had with Coady lasted all Summer long one time).

So, let's wait until the day before the draft starts so we can avoid the problems we had this last year. Anyone else concur?

oh...and I almost forgot. Tight game TheMan. It came down to one steal, and me watching my team to make sure I didn't go over in TOs...

Now it's you vs. me George (again). I don't think I'll have an easy a time winning...But I will say this:
I'll see your Carlos Arroyo and I'll raise you a Luke Ridnour! Ha! (and I now have a Carlos Arroyo voodoo doll I'm sticking with pins).

No. You're just saying that so you can hold onto an extra couple guys going into the offseason and you'd like some extra time to sort out which players to keep. That's not fair to teams like mine who don't have any players on the IL.

You could see it that way if you want to--though I do have at least 2 guys who are simply injury replacements and won't have much value next year...

But either way that doesn't change the fact that waiting until the next draft would benefit most people. At least, it would have benefited TheMan, who came back the day of the draft to find Gallinari off his team roster.

What are we going to do with Coady's team? Dispersal and expansion, or just find a manager?

The final will be very close. I think Carl's been building for some time, but the loss of Bogut will hurt. AlciG has plenty of potential.

Dibs on Paul, Nowitzki, Wade, Roy, Gasol, Wallace, Bargnani, Green and Westbrook. You guys can disperse the rest however you like.

In terms of the IL thing, hasn't it just always been that you get your roster down to 15 when the season ends? Why would we do it any other way?

Hmmm... I think I used to give a grace period... not sure what it was, or what Jordan did when he was running the league, though. Likely, it will be the lottery. A time when most GM's are back active and likely active enough to choose their keepers/IL drops.

Anybody know when we typically ran the lottery? Wasn't it the day before the NBA lottery?

Also, Is Coady for sure leaving? What's the deal? With that mega-roster, you'd think he'd stick around?

He felt slighted because people (ie Me) complained about his streaming earlier in the year.

He was looking for an excuse to leave so at the first problem (i.e. when he streamed to beat Alci G even though he was already way out in 1st place) he phreaked and flipped a nut. True Story.
