We can run the draft on fantrax again, it was very smooth last year.

yeah sure

I would also suggest a new twist:

We pick our own draft spots according to lottery results. ie. the team winning the lottery picks where he wants to pick. Then second team pick from the remaining 19 draft slots, 3rd team picks from remaining 18 draft slots etc.

I love & hate the idea
Sure it would be sup but since we can always trade spots I dont see the point in doing it
Some gms actually prefer to pick at 20-21 spot instead of 15-26 which is sometimes even stated in this league wheneve lotto results are announced

I know what is auction system but idk what is waiver auction same day add system
care to explain please

So continuous waivers means that there are no free agents. Each player is on waivers every day until the time Yahoo's system processes waiver requests. These requests are a blind bid. Whoever has the highest bid gets the player (you can bid 0) and ties go by waiver priority. Same day means that the player you get off waivers is active the day you get the player. The default is the player is active the next day but I don't want that.

I like the idea of picking your own draft spot based on lotto results. I would love to see that implemented this season to try something new.

Why not? I'd be in too.
Only potential problem: getting people to respond to what spot they want.
Solution: Everyone gets their draft spot as normal, but each manager has the option before the draft begins to choose their spot based on their lottery results. Those that don't respond by a certain date just keep the spot they earned with the lottery results.

With this option, we'd probably need to delay the start of the draft at least a few days, or possibly a week, unless everyone checks in early.

I m in regarding the idea of picking your own draft spot based on lotto results.

I m going to trow other idea that I think would move the draft quicker and I will put that to the votation too. Therefor we going to have two pools one with Curtis idea and one with mine. To approve we just going to need the majority of the GM that already checked in ( maybe some would move faster imo ).

Pool A

new sys of picking your own draft spot based on lotto results. Simple YES or NO

Pool B

NO TRADES during the draft. Again simple YES ( to approve ) or NO ( to disapprove ).

Lotto ball 8

I have a proposition as well. Can't we give a live 3.5 hour auction draft a try? Is it impossible for some people to give 3 hours of their time? Like if your friends/wife ask you to go out you just say I have plans/work for 3 hours. Of course barring some real emergency situation...

Can we change the G and F to U?
I think this was suggested last year.
