That's possible. I nearly took him with my last pick, but I just couldn't stomach grabbing him. His stats took quite a hit last year in NY, and I don't trust his ability to do much better. Plus, I also couldn't stomach having both Carmelo AND Amare on my team, so I went with Hibbert instead.

His draft range this year is more around mid-50's so I dont think he slipped a lot.

Any of the last 10 picks can be talked up in value using "best case" logic. These players have flaws that make them available in the 4th round. Some of these guys will pan out some won't. The trick is to trade ur duds early before everybody notices how bad they are. I draft upside early and safe floor later. real late I go lottery boom/bust types.

And here I was thinking, if Buser takes Lillard that early, maybe I'm missing something.

I think Teague was actually his first choice, but Rounder's took him right before...

I actually wish his summer league was a bit worse. I was high-ish on him even before but that SL brought his overall stock up enough that now he's going about where I think he should be and I can't value-grab him like I hoped I might be able to pre-SL. (you know, like Kyrie Irving at pick 88 last year, just as an example :D)

If anyone wants to move up to 72, let me know. I'm looking for a bump in my next pick (99) and maybe another later bump (depending on the first bump I'm receiving).

My picks:

72 99 126 131 158 163 190 195 222

I think HF and I just cut the average pick time in half!

I'll be very busy tomorrow but let me bump this as a reminder.

Will the draft clock will be halted while the forum is down? Seems like it would make sense, can't really justify keeping a clock running if it is impossible to actually pick (and those 'approximate' down times don't *always* end up being entirely accurate.)

I would assume so. Total down time would merely be added onto whoever is on the clock. However, it shouldn't be a big deal one way or the other. Whoever is on the clock should not consider it all that much. However, if time reaches the point of where there might be a question, just cover your bases by sending Curtis/Sly an email. Not only does it alert them of your good intentions but covers your bases with a witness or two.

Exactly. The draft clock will stop during the down time. Like Red said, if you cant log on the forum and wont be available later on, feel free to send a list to someone and they can make your pick for you once the forum is back and running.
