How about 9th of August for lottery, and we can vote for dynasty/no dynasty until then(8 days to vote which is more than enough IMO)

Hell here is my vote: Dynasty forever.

I like August 9th for the lottery. The sooner the better
I also like the idea of dynasty starting next year.

I'll concur on the August 9th date, and, I think my preference for Dynasty next season has been stated.

9th it is then, or around 9th if it should happen that i'm away on 9th

as for dynasty voting, options are:

1. we go dynasty right away and keep current rosters (though we agreed it would be a keeper league last year so some people will be at disadvantage)

2. we go dynasty next year (so everyone can prepare for it through the draft)

I think I might not have been clear... I ment going dynasty from this year onwards so we can keep that in mind when drafting our rosters. Sorry about the confusion.

no prob man.

this was a misunderstanding, but even if somebody wants to change his vote it's allowed until the voting is over (on 17th)

Shouldn't we redraft if we go with a dyntasy league? I don't see how it's fair to just switch out of nowhere.

But the point is...we are still drafting. We're not going Dynasty this season, we're keeping our 4 keepers and then next season going dynasty. So, in essence, it's assumed that you'll have the top 4 guys you wanted anyway. The draft we have this year will just be like a continuation from the first 4 rounds of a draft. I don't see how it will hurt strategy if we transition starting next season. I think re-drafting seems even more detrimental to teams who have been working hard to get and keep certain players.
