I don't understand it either. WB too did this type of trades with Fran.

What is not to understand?

I moved back five to move up five. yes. I should have got a little more but he wouldn't include 142 for 144. But, the trade gives me 182,183, 184 and 217, 218, 219 and I am done. Meaning I don't have to check in as often and I don't have to make hard decisions. Unless I have a 5 person list when my three picks come up.

ok lets check the trade that was done before

abonis trades: 43, 83, 118
alcig trades: 56, 65, 105

the difference between the #43 and the #46 is 3 spots
you gave a mid #60 + earlly 100´s

he gave late jumps
what is better? it deppends there are guys you prefer late jumps there are guys that prefer litle jumps in early stages
he keep his #69 pick
+ Love fits perfect with PaulG and KlayT

It is 43 for 56, 13 spots not 3 spots pal
I know curtis i telling the difference between the 43 ( the 1st pick sabonis traded ) and the 46 ( mine ) there was not a big difference

I m almost 100% sure you would pick Jokic too that said 1 spot difference can be 2 much or too litle to buy
I just never thought the same guy that picked conley would go Jokic my bad

Regarding the IL spot i would be +1 if we decided before the draft start now i can grt choices were made not to draft a guy that if inj i got to carry on my team for 1 week etc -Then there are players that are suspended etc and the benefits can be gain not everything is rolling
this is my 2 cents i vote NO IL

I have to agree with Fran on the IL spot. Although I have guys on my team that would benefit me having an IL that should have been voted on before the start of the draft

You are completely off. You are greatly over estimating the problems that a low volume 60% ft shooter costs a team. FT problems are caused far more by volume than by %. With Volume you can offset a mediocre FT% shooter with a high volume, great free shooter, making it irrelevant irrelevant.

The reason Deandre tanks FTs is because he shoots 8 a game at 45%, Drummond 8 at 35% and Howard 7 at .48%.

Gobert at 4 at 60% is not an issue. That equates to roughly 5 missed fts a week (the average 3 game week). Hardly devastating.

What is devestating is taking Horford with your first pick :)
He's going to be playing far less minutes, so that Boston can try and keep him healthy...which is hard to do, he's always injured and with Massive, season ending injuries at that. Good luck with him :P

I see no problem with an IL spot especially since yahoo added it back.

The problem I see is that something like that should have been decided before the actual draft started. It may have changed how someone would have drafted if they knew. Guys that are injury risks now aren't as much as a liability, so it changes values of players.

Yeah, exactly. I suggested it at least twice before the draft started and nobody said anything. We are absolutely not changing rules halfway through the draft.

Good luck replacing a guy you took with a top 50 pick with a guy that is left on the wire after 280 picks.

That is from a Ray Wylie Hubbard song called Conversation with the Devil.

I think there is an error on the first page with the pick list. I has me owning 213 but I don't think I do. I think it belongs to Tkunit. But I am willing to keep it.
