5 game IL is fine for me. I wouldn't mind moving the playoffs up a week either.

I like the 5 game IL wait time. I'm trying to shop Darren Collison, Amare, Boozer, John Salmons and/or DJ Augustin in a package for a better player if anybody is interested.

I'm interested in all the above (except for Boozer)...but before I send an offer, let's negotiate how many bad offers I can send, and how many foul-mouth-laden responses you can send in return. 8-)

Looking forward to this season. I think I overachieved last season to come fifth, but am excited at having Lee, Evans, Randolph and Griffin together, and hopefully all playing (well).

As for the IL wait time, let's just keep it at the status quo.

The schedule wasn't so kind, drawing dynamoose in Week 1. But I guess he'll be at his weakest in Week 1 because it is truncated..

I guess Sanders could get increased run due to Bogut's injuries. On the other hand Sanders is likely to be better at the end of the season than at the beginning, so it's a double edged sword.

I'm also helped by Evan's suspension. w00t.

What is difficult is not that you face him the first week of the season but that means you will have to face him twice.

The Team isn't worried about the scheduling. We just take them one day at a time.

And...

I agree keep IL wait time the same. However, knocking the final 2-3 days of the NBA regular season out of the playoffs is a good idea since all the stars get rested at that time.

Season starts this week...

Still waiting to get word from enough people to change the playoffs to start a week earlier. I think we have about 5 who have voted, thought it seems unanimous to change it. We need at least 6 or 7.

Don't recall if I voted yet, but I'm for the IL staying as is, and moving the playoffs up a week.

I just went back and counted, and we're at 5. The commish usually doesn't get a vote. So we need at least 2-3 votes before we can make the change.

For what it's worth: It's a 5-0 vote right now. If enough people show interest, I'll make the change.

FYI the Trade between HeHateMe and TheTeam includes The Team receiving Cfan's 2013 2nd round pick.

We hate to see Ben go. He was an original and valuable member of the Team. However, we see this trade shoring up our point guard rotation. DJ is a young dynamic player with a lot of potential to grow. We hope to work him into our rotation as quickly as possible.

That shouldn't be too hard. When there is an opening in the SG, PG or G position, you click, drag and drop DJ into that open spot.

And I have an open PG slot Friday when he will join the team. :naaa:

Hey everyone. I have way too many PGs and SGs. I need to make a G for F, C or FC swap. Guys I'm dangling: Sessions, Ray Allen, Barbosa

FYI: I'm clarifying the rule on IL:

Because the Money League and FFL League, which many of us are also in, have an IL policy of being able to drop a player ON THE DAY that that player misses his final game for IL, rather than AFTER the game is over, I'm going to follow the same rules on this league. Otherwise, it's going to get confusing:

So here is the clarification:

Only 2 players per team at a time.
You may not drop the player until the same day of the 5th consecutive game missed by that player.

You must post your IL player on the league board and add your player's name to the reserve list. If you do not, YOUR PLAYER IS NOT PROTECTED. No exceptions. I repeat, NO EXCEPTIONS!

You must ALSO update the IL list on the league board WITH your announcement that your player has been dropped to IL. No exceptions.
