PG - John Wall '90
SG - Dwyane Wade '82
G - Tyreke Evans '89
SF - Andre Iguodala '84
PF - Serge Ibaka '89

The year of births are next to each name. With the exception of Wade, Iggy and maybe Splitter, the team is filled with youth. and I'm now thinking maybe if I should have gone with more experience but still believe this team will be competitive. I love the potential here.

I think this is a pretty good team, but my only question is: who are your keepers? Outside of Ibaka and Wall, everyone else seems questionable. Tyreke's problems have been well-noted. Wade is old, and will see a decline in the next few seasons, who knows how good/bad Iggy will be in GS, Lopez is somewhat unreliable, but at least has top 30 potential. I like Splitter and Henderson for the long-haul, but are they good enough to keep you competitive in years to come against other teams' keepers? I don't know. I think there's definitely potential here, and you should be quite competitive this year.

Re: Semi-Keeper League
Wall, Ibaka and Lopez are almost surely keepers, unless their value somehow plummets. I will probably select the last two from the rest. Tyreke is a strong candidate but the last keeper will be dependent on performance of each player. Who knows maybe Wade performs at top 10 level again and I'll keep him.

Two picks left.
TK is late, and then just MyLo, and we're done.
Once Yahoo is up and running, I'll create the league and input the rosters.
Because free agency will be determined by a budget this year, there will be no add/drops until the Yahoo site is up and everyone has signed up.
Thanks guys!

Overall it is a pretty young team, the oldest players I have are 27 year old Dwight and Thornton. SG looks a bit troublesome and I'll get beaten in assists and ft% pretty much every week and 3's are below average but I should be competitve in remaining 6 categories.
Not the team I had in mind when I drafted Dwight at 5, but had to change plans once WB snagged Rondo and Jfrost picked Josh Smith.
ATTN: MYLO
As you can see, Kawhi Leonard was taken nearly 100 picks ago. Step up, son!
I'm really interested to see how this team does. With Blake, Dwight, and McGee as keepers every year, you could potentially not have to worry about your REB/BLK/FG% numbers for years. Even if McGee isn't keeper material, there are great guard compliments too.

Lots of hustle guys here. It's hard for me to see where the points will come from after Wall, Wade, and BroLo. This looks like the makeup of a sneaky team that always has a shot to win FG%,FT%,BLK,REB,STL and PTS.
3s,AST, and TO I'd be worried about though.
I agree with WB. I don't see 5 solid keepers here. Since it seems like it was the trend with most teams to take 3 solid "for sure" keepers, then roll the dice on young guys with upside, I don't see the lack of sure-fire keepers very alarming. Next years draft could be fun though, as some teams loaded with old depth will have to cut loose some talented guys.

I really like this team. Klay is out of place as the only big source of 3's, but who cares because he's awesome. You have 7 guys who are potential keepers in my opinion, and look to be very comptitive this year. The team really hinges on Pau, Gordon, and Rose all coming back to near 100%, but I still like the odds of this team doing very well.

JR Smith hurts you in a shallow league because he probably won't be keeper material, which makes him dead weight for a period of time this season (and most likely this season only, probably not worth the risk this year IMO).
Jennings is no FG%, but Millsap and Pek should be all FG%; We'll see if they balance out. Anthony Davis was an excellent pick, because he has the potential to be a perennial top 5 fantasy player. His thin frame gives me injury/durability concerns, but I like the pick (He's probably who I would've taken at 8 had I not traded).
Millsap was a huge steal. I can't believe how far he fell.
A solid team, but I don't think Barnes or Harkless will work themselves up to "keeper" status. I think more "win now" guys could've helped more.

Re: Semi-Keeper League
my assists aren't that bad, is it? Wall, Wade, Iggy, Evans, Hendo give me some.
Also I haven't checked other teams but TOs could be competitive as well because I have some low TO guys as well such as Amir, Tiago, Ibaka even Brook Lopez and Hendo don't turn it over that much. Though Wall, Wade, Tyreke and Iggy are all high turnover guys so I'm not sure about it

You've convinced me on AST. I guess I looked and only saw one legit PG and figured AST would be an issue, but when you have so many other guys capable of 4-5 assists, it should be solid in a shallow league.
I'm not buying the TO though. I just think to win TO routinely, you can only afford to have 1 or 2 players who don't put up 3+ on a weekly basis. Wall, Wade, Iggy, and Evans are all capable of huge TO games.

To Woody:
Your team is real old. Really one of the few "win now" teams.
I'm not crazy about your PGs, but a team with bigs like Love, Dirk, Duncan, and Zeller should be pretty good in bigman stats while also not killing FT%. You have at least 5 short term keepers here, but not very many long term keepers after Love and Harden (unless the unbreakable Kobe keeps playing until he's 50).

I like it. The percentages and TO will probably be rough, but the positive counting stats are all covered. LeBron and Josh Smith are the cogs though. While looking at the team I was thinking to myself, "Well, assists look weak...wait a minute, he has LeBron. Nevermind. Blocks and Boards are middling...nevermind, Bron and Smith".
There is also a ton of youth here. I think you will have a very hard time narrowing your roster down to 5 at the end of the season. My prediction is this team will make the playoffs and probably be tough to take 5 CATS from. My prediction for the 5 keepers will be: 1. LeBron 2. Drummond 3. Lowry 4. Parsons 5. Waiters (although Turner will have the better season being on a horrid team).

I'm pretty open to dropping JR Smith for an emergent player so I agree with you there. Similar with Harkless, thought it was worth getting first dibs if he wins a nice role, but I think I'll be quick to pull the plug in a league this shallow.
Barnes I disagree on. Although it was an overdraft, I've just got a hunch about the kid. Great attitude, he'll be the go-to option on the second unit, and I read about how Kobe has personally taken an interest in Barnes, which makes me think he has to see something special in him.
