Wow, including Sabonis' vote and the votes on the doodle site, we're tied. 6-6

Two votes left: Mine and Bww's

Frankly, i'm on the fence. I think Live is difficult with so many time zones, but not sure if we have enough time for a slow draft to finish by the time the season starts...I'll decide in a few hours.

btw if it's a slow draft I will probably drop the league because I'm sick of waiting and checking the boards I already have 3 slow drafts running right now, getting tired of this.

as long as we don't have anybody in east asia, we should be good to go because US and Europe time difference is 7 hours at most, which is reasonable. Any start time from 10 am to 2-3 pm Eastern Time on a aweekend should and will be ok for the the europeans.

Yes, the BOSF slow draft is just about killing any desire for me to slow draft ever again.

If it's a live draft though, my weekends are completely out, but of course, I can just set my preference list if need be.

Yeah it's just a matter of preference. If u can't sacrifice 2.5 hours for a season long league, maybe you shouldn't participate in that league in the first place.

its not that we can't set aside 2.5 hours.....some of us work on the weekends

and having to rank 250 players is a bitch and you might not end up with who you want/would take in that situation but makes it kind of a waste

even if we started october i'm sure we'd finish on time

I guess I vote slow. Only because my nights are often full, and I fear not being able to attend the live draft.

bww
Aren't u in the USA. The draft won't and can't be at night in your time zone, it will start around the time I stated on the previous page.

I went ahead and voted live, but I'm fine if we have to go slow. I'd prefer to be there for the draft.

Can't log on to doodle but given my vacation plans, I have to switch to slow draft.

I logged on and went ahead and changed it for you.

I think this is a good point Sk1p. I'm changing my vote (though it doesn't really matter at this point). There's just little chance I'd actually be able to be at the draft (my schedule in the next few weeks is really intense).

BTW, that puts it at 9 slow 5 live.

ok, we have a clear majority for slow draft. Later tonight I'll set up a draft thread, create a draft order, and announce a start time.

ok, to save time and because it's all random anyway, i'm not asking people to pick numbers. I'll just go with the team id your team has in the league, and use that as the order for random.org to start from:

1 = WhenYouSeeMyAntlers…
2 = Ham I Am
3 = WB
4 = Gocke, who withdrew. We'll just skip his pick in the random.org results.
5 = Hi-Brow
6 = Skaiwalkers
7 = Anti-Floppymoose
8 = 3Si
9 = BDub
10 = Jazzfan''s Busters
11 = tk
12 = sk1p
13 = insfo
14 = SA Sugarkids

Nice, I've got the 2nd overall pick. Now I need to figure out how to play Roto. This is my first time.

Let's start the draft Sunday at noon San Francisco time. I'm still constructing the draft thread, but the beginnings of it are here:

viewtopic.php?f=336&t=1206198

Later today I will send email to everyone reminding them of the draft start.
