Huge win for me over Kohanz in the consolation playoffs! Of course, Kohanz didn't set his line up, but hey, at this point, I'll take anything.

Young_Star11 wrote:east has finally lived up to expectation. He was the biggest underachiever of the league for a long time, until this season. It will be tough, but it should be close.

Carl looks the goods in the other semi-final, but it was this match-up a few years ago which saw George do the unthinkable and win (and then go onto to win the championship). Same happened last year when Coady got dumped out by AlciG in an upset.

My guys were constant underachievers. I blame the coaching staff of course. I might underachieve again in the playoffs without Deron and DHarris. However, going forward I think my core is pretty set for awhile: Lebron, Rose, Deron, D12, DHarris, Horford, Cousins, Kevin Martin, Lowry, Gerald Henderson, T. Chandler, Roddy Beaubois, etc. Teague and Hawyard on the bubble.

I didn't know Deron was going to be out.

How did Brian manage to make 70+ moves in a dynasty league?

That's just Brian. I think he made over 100 moves last season.

When the league starts getting boring, and you've swapped your players 3-5 times over with the same teams, add/drops is all that's left.

Oh, and Jordan, that less of an established core could beat you this week.

It's still early, but my normally good shooting squad is at .366 fg%, and .697 ft%. I think I have to win those cats to advance.

You'll win FT% I think. Surprisingly, I'm winning in TO's! By only one but still.

Sorry Brian.

I've now won 10 of the past 12 weeks (including wins over 'theman', 'The Invincibles' and 'dynamoose') and my losses were 4-5 losses to bww and Ham.

and yet, you're in the consolation bracket...

which reminds me, I believe I had your team pegged from the get-go: 7th, just barely missing the playoffs.

I was completely wrong about East's team though.

There was nothing I could do with east's squad. On to ham and the Dorrell Wright show!

11 wins out of 13 and I finish in 7th. I confirm that I am retiring from fantasy basketball. My team is coming along after a rough start, and with a little tweaking could become playoff competitive in 1-2 years.

I leave with the following roster:
Jameer Nelson (Orl - PG)
Darren Collison (Ind - PG)
Jose Calderon (Tor - PG)
Aaron Brooks (Pho - PG)
Tyreke Evans (Sac - PG,SG)
Francisco Garcia (Sac - SG,SF)
J.R. Smith (Den - SG,SF)
Thaddeus Young (Phi - SF,PF)
Kris Humphries (NJ - PF)
Ryan Anderson (Orl - PF,C)
Blake Griffin (LAC - PF,C)
Anthony Randolph (Min - PF,C)
Greg Monroe (Det - PF,C)
David Lee (GS - PF,C)
Luis Scola (Hou - PF,C)

Thanks to everyone in this league who made it fun. I won't forget my first ever week in FFDL, when I beat defending champion Blake 8-1 and dismissed him bad. Two poor seasons followed, but I kept building and building. Good luck with your future endeavors in this league guys.

I'll miss you Jordan! Brian too! I'm bummed you guys are retiring!

It feels nice to finally make it to the top of the mountain. I hope to stay here for awhile =)

Congratulations my friend. Welcome to the ranks of the champions.

Carl, you came up just a bit short again. Tough break. Still no title.

Well, I'm afraid I'm also announcing my retirement from the FFDL. I've loved this league all 6 years that I played in it, and it will be greatly missed. From winning the championship in our inaugural season, to losing the championship to Ham, and to Stanford, and never having missed the playoffs, my team had a good run. If Chris Paul hadn't gone down with an injury in his sophmore season, leading me to hastily trade him away, things might have been different.

At any rate, my team is still a playoff team and an annual contender with some youth left to build off of, so you shouldn't have any trouble finding someone to fill my spot (unlike some other managers' sad rosters, *cough* Jordan *cough*).

Thanks Craig for the initial invite. Good luck guys!

Congraulations Chirs for winning the championship and the regular season. Nicely done! (One of the drawbacks to h2h leagues is timing. If I could have only beaten Carl last week, I would've won against Chris despite losing to floppy this week.)

I'm sorry that Jordan, Blake, and Brian are retiring. You guys will be missed. This is a fun league and those will be good teams for new managers to pick up on.

It starts now.

BTW, anyone who would like to compile all the final rosters and IL would probably have the upper hand in being the next commish. #Imjustsayin
