Uh, I'm here. I don't understand, no heads up?

So, what's going on here, you said you'll wait for me to check in until the end of the day and then you do the lottery an hour after that? This was a pretty quick turnaround.

Just assumed, I guess, and got antsy. If you want in, you're in. Sorry for the confusion. We'll just have to find a 16th.

I can leave as you wanted to keep it small anyways. I want to concentrate on my other leagues. If u find another one, I can stay. Either way I'm fine

Well, if you both leave, that just puts us back down to 13. So we actually NEED one of you to stay.

Or both, if you can find a 16th...

Ok, Sabonis has decided to drop, and 3Si has decided to stay.

So, I've given 3Si Sabonis' lottery number.

Running the lottery now.

Re: Semi-Keeper League - Draft Order Set - Draft can begin N

Post#77 » by bww78 » Fri Aug 23, 2013 11:17 pm

Ok guys, remember the rules:

Lineups: PG, SG, G, PF, SF, F, C, Bench, Bench

You can only protect 5 players at the end of the year.

There are 9 players per team and 14 teams, for a total of 126 players to be drafted.

Once Insfo makes his first pick, players will have 8 hours to make their pick or risk being skipped.

I will start the draft thread.

I have a small request. I will be out of town starting tomorrow morning for a wedding. Its going to be hard enough picking in one league, let alone two.
Would it be possible to start this sunday night?
If not I completely understand, I just want everyone to know I
won't be very prompt with my picks, so don't try waiting for me.
I'll do my best to send lists to the boards frequent flyers...BWW, Jfrost, WB, Curtis, or Woody.

Also, are we trading picks?

Also, just once I want a spot that isn't one of the consensus worst in the draft (I believe 7 and 8 to be the worst)...Maybe the whole keeper stipulation changes my train of thought though, I will have to see.

I picked # 12. I was entered in 8th with the number twelve (at least 8th on the list in Bww's post)...sure enough, random.org spits out that I get 8th. Random my keester. :D

Also, remember that every year, other than this year, there will be two drafts:

The rookie draft, to be conducted right after the actual NBA draft

The free agent draft, to be auction style in September every year

You will have a total of $100 to spend on free agents

You have two draft picks per year for rookies

You may trade picks and/or cash, as you see fit.

BUT PLEASE POST SPECIFICALLY WHAT IS BEING TRADED AND HOUND ME TO UPDATE YOUR TEAM UNTIL IT IS DONE OR WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO KEEP TRACK OF EVERYTHING.

Ideally, just post your updated team roster complete with picks and cash so that I can just copy and paste it.

Unused cash may be carried over to subsequent drafts. But, unused cash will NOT be applicable to waiver wire pick-ups, which will have its OWN budget on Yahoo.
