I honestly don't understand why we are as a 20 team league, still forcing strict roster positions. We should at least change a F and G to Utility for sure. Don't be narrowminded about changes.

Last year in BOSF, we had that and it worked just fine. I would recommend this

Idk how this works

its like everyone got 50$ budjet and they spend that on waivers? its like that
in case of tie the player that gets him is the one that got the wrost lotto ball?
it´s like that??
but the inverse order is not to give guys that got the #20 #19 ... better chances to get a player in the waiver ?
correct me if I m wrong ( I just dk how this works )

You get 100 $ in total for the season to spend on players from the free agent pool.
Lets say David Lee is a free agent today, you put a bid of 2 $, I put a bid of 7 $, Sabonis puts a bid of 0$. We also all state our drop in case if we win him. These are all silent bids so nobody sees other bids. At the end of the day, all the bids are processed and I win it. He gets added to my team and whoever I stated as my drop gets dropped. 7$ is extracted from my budget so I have 93$ to spend for the rest of the season.

If nobody puts a bid on the player, he rolls over the next day as a free agent and he is subject to the same process the next day.

You still have 4 adds per week, you can revise / make your bids until to the roll over to the next day ( usually happens around 9am europe time). You can also order your bids according to your preference, put multiple bids to different players with same/different drops.

Yahoo handles everything, works like a charm

And in the case of tie bids, highest waiver priority wins

You can also bid $0 if you want to save $ or have none. If your waiver priority is used, it does get bumped to the bottom like usual.

Since this is a 20 Team league Highest waiver priotity should always win

The name we normally give to the process is democracy
we having a votation and D1 is winning for a nice margin

If everyone is in favor I will 1st finish the current votations ( lotto & start of the draft dates ( we already have more than 50% in favor ), IL list ( same as the dates ), how many IL spots and lineups )
and in the week between the lottery draft and the start of the draft we can put to vote this new waivers proposal

How many days does it take for the player to be actually available to play on your roster? One (as before), I hope.

The highest money bid wins. Waiver priority only comes to play when it is a tie bid. Dont see the relevance to league size, bosf is a 16 teamer, not a small league.

Depends on the league setting. With same day, if you bid on a Tuesday, Yahoo process on Wednesday morning, then you can play the player for Wednesday games. With next day, you have to wait for Thursday games. I prefer same day.

C.1 ) How many spots Injury list

My vote: 1 spot

D) What is the lineup you would like to have

My vote: D2 or D3 - we need this U spot to have a more flexible roster.

D1- PG SG G G SF PF F F C C B B B B what we had for years - 6 votes

D2- PG SG G SF PF F C C U U B B B B cut 1 G spot and 1 F spot and add 2 U - 2 votes

D3- PG SG G G SF PF F F C C U B B B add one more U spot insted of a Bench spot - 2 votes

D4- PG SG G G SF PF F F C C C B B B Hey I add this one bc if the U is bc we only had 2 C spots and it was to get one more C theres no need to be a U - 0 vote

D5 - PG SG G G SF PF F F C C B B B An extra bench spot was added to make up for the lack of an IL so drop a roster spot if there is an IL. - 1 Vote

I'm in... I'll check the voting options a bit later. Quite busy.

I'll take #2

Btw... if there's no spot left for WB I'll relinquish my spot to him as I sat in for him last year

I think the position voting is done incorrectly.
First we need to vote if we want more flexible positions and then vote on the choices for those positions. (just like the IL vote)

or else since the votes are distributed among different options, there's no way a change will be implemented.

Votations

A) Lotto
20th August - 13 votes

B) Start of the Draft
25th August - 13 votes

C) Injury List
Yes 12 votes
No 1 votes

C.1 ) How many spots Injury list
1 spot - 5 votes
2 spots - 9 votes

New votation to add

D) What is the lineup you would like to have INSFO 3si didn´t cast his vote on this pool

D1- PG SG G G SF PF F F C C B B B B what we had for years - 7 votes

D2- PG SG G SF PF F C C U U B B B B cut 1 G spot and 1 F spot and add 2 U - 5 votes Decided to put frost here since he said D2 or D3 and D2 right now could still fight after woody changed his vote from D3 to D2

D3- PG SG G G SF PF F F C C U B B B add one more U spot insted of a Bench spot - 1 votes

- 1 Vote´

Lotto balls left 10 14 16 18 20 woody & Theman already check in but forgot to pick their lottery ball

RIGHT NOW I THINK, AND CORRECT ME IF I M WRONG A; B; C Questions are done since we already have more than 50% saying yes to the lotto, start of the draft and INJ list, we going to keep votting C.1 how many spots in the inj list, D. Lineups and please pick your lotto balls

One more thing when we reach to 18 I going to add both Cyrus and Wb since activity is a thing that I know we all see as one of the most important thing and I think that I can speak for the majority of the league saying we all can vouch for that two

Right now D2 and D3 have U spots = all the votes counted is equal to 5+1 = 6 votes
D1 D4 and D5 dont have U spots = all the votes counted is equal to 7+0+1= 8 votes

nice try but RIGHT NOW its not even close
and I already put Frost as D2 to give more changes for D2 bc he said D2 or D3 even still I put him on D2 and I changed the votation for woody from D3 to D2

Like I dont have nothing more good to do
humm I losing something I decided to put to the votation now I going to change it when 70% of the guys already voted. Really? IF only IF all D2 & D3 had more votes I could understand man but its not like that.

On a side note and only bc I m a great guy IF you give me the chance to get the best ping pong ball between me and you I would change my vote from D1 to D2. Do you accept ?
I accept
I would have 2 ping pong balls the 19 and yours and you would keep the wrost if you accept just post I accept and we have a deal I just want to make you happy man
