I'm in. If it's a live draft it has to be after Sept 17.

Given that you've read the thread can you vote on the polls?

If this is accurate, we are waiting on Floppymoose, Woody (needs to pick a number), Stick, Headliner, Moose

Sk1p and Cyrus have offered to be a replacement if someone opts out.

Who is our admin this year? Can you send emails to these few to get the manager list finalized?

We need to get the ball rolling here very quickly as the season starts on October 16th.

I suggest September 3rd, Monday 9 am EST as the draft start date. It will be an offline draft as there does not seem to be enough traction for a live draft at the moment.

Woody and Floppy please pick your balls quickly, remaining balls are:

11
12
15
16
20

I will email Headliner, Moose and Stick, I expect them to be back.

League is up on fantrax already so you can access it using your accounts on fantrax.

Hey, I’m going to be out this year. I’m in too many leagues and have a child on the way soon.
Have a great year!

Why didn't you tell me you were playing in the FFL?

Just randomly checking in....what a trip to see your name.

(Winsanity is my cousin)

Nice to see practically everyone in the league is still the same. Hope you guys have been well!

I was following when you played and when they had an open spot I jumped on it. Great way to pass the off-season and prep for the fall.

You should join if there’s space.

Looks like we need someone to fill in Headliner's spot, Winsanity can you please contact Sk1p and see if he is interested and if so, he needs to post a lotto number in here.

Sk1p hung em up many years ago. He’s getting married this fall. He’s not gonna play this year.

If we need another player, I have an NBA fanatic son who has played fantasy the last few years that I'm sure would love to join...but ONLY if we absolutely need him because I'm not sure how much more I want him spending on Fantasy :)

We are not voting on live draft at this point as there is simply not. a lot traction to it as stated above and I fear such a change will result a lot of gms dropping out from the league.

However I do plan to start an FFL live league separate from this one so people interested in a live draft will be able to participate in that one.

We will vote on utility position once we have the league full anf everybody checked in

Here is a wild thought if i'm apart of the league:

A happy medium to both trades during the draft and no trades...why not do like a drafted round (where no trades are made), then have like a 12 hour or 24 hour window, where there is no picks made, but trades are allowed either with selected players or upcoming picks. So essentially it would be round 1, then 12 hour window-24 hour window of trades allowed, then another round, another window maybe smaller trade window, etc.

Seems like an administrative nightmare.

I reiterate my vote for no trades

+1
Way too complicated. We can't get people to check in on time, let alone this.
Either way, might be a moot point - I thought the no-trades thing already passed. Pretty sure we already had a majority.

Yeah, i think both rules passed now. When can we run the lotto? We should get the ball rolling ASAP as it will take a few days to get the order determined post-lotto.
