Had the same issue in one of my leagues, this is what we did in the end:

1) run the lottery as usual

2) put the resulting picks (ex #3 and #8) in the mini-draft pool so the new managers can chose those as well

Guys let's plan on starting the Draft on Sunday. 8:00 AM EDT.

They are going to try to finish the mini draft tomorrow. Hopefully they can both be online at the same time.

The #1 pick has been taken in the mini draft so even if they are not finished I think we can get started.

From the draft thread - “12 hours will be strictly enforce. However, if the twelve hours elapses verify with the commissioner before picking”
