I was not trying to start a movement. I just wanted to either get told the total for the 29th, or get the link to the survey so I could see myself. Neither happened.

I'm confused... you should already have the link. You answered the poll so clearly you had it at one time. I will PM it to you again.

theman is joining us to round out the league. Woody is staying. The draft time is now final: 6pm Pacific, Tues Oct 23

If you want to vote on 3 adds per week vs 45 per season (unlimited trades either way) then post it here in the next 48 hours. I have to settle that before the draft.

I vote 3 a week. otherwise I would prolly hold em all til February and use all 45 in the last 2 months. use em or lose em is the way to go.

I'm afraid I'm going to have to drop out guys. I'm simply not available Tuesday night until after 9pm. Sorry to leave you in a lurch like this.

What a mess... looks like we might not have much of a league left if we don't switch the draft date.

i think we waited too long to schedule this..and its obviously not a top priority for most. hence the scheduling conflicts. im wondering how it could be done differently, but i think flopp did a good job...life is just getting in the way for some of us.

as for the survey...i deleted the emails. thanks for the pm flopp. looking at my monday the 29th suggestion, it seems that nobody across the pond could really make it...i wonder if there is a universal reason. either way you slice it, we just cant all get on the same page this year. maybe next year we try a bit earlier, send an open invite for anyone in the realgm community, or slow form it.

I have no idea how we managed to do this league last year. I can tell you that it's not possible this year with this particular group of managers. I'm going to keep the league open and try to find some managers on Monday who are good with the draft date/time. If you don't want to play please delete your team promptly so that we will know how many teams we need to add.

I think I'll keep it simple next year and pick a date/time in advance, and only those who can make that time will be allowed to join. Or I'm also happy to hand over commish next year if someone wants the job - I only did it for this league because no one else volunteered.

I think this is my fault because I asked for a different time. Let's go back to the original time and I'll stay in. I'll just set my values as specific as I can and let it autodraft for me. That would ensure most everyone can be in the league.

Am I right in that doing a draft at 9pm PST is the same as doing it 7am in Turkey? If that's the case, isn't that the ideal time? Those on the east coast just stay up late, and bam, everyone is available.

Why don't the people in Turkey just learn Spanish and move to the U.S.?

My inclusion of 9pm on the poll was a bit of a red herring. 8:45pm (US pacific) is the latest draft time Yahoo offers, then it's offline until 6am.

For better or worse, the time is fixed in stone now. There comes a point where I have to stop the madness and we are past that point.

Oh well. If it has stayed the 21st, I would have been able to participate.

I'll delete my team now.
