He won't be cheap (as some of the offers I have received seem to think) but Tyreke is available. I could stand to package some of my youth in a 3-for-1 type of move as well.

Can someone remind me as to how the lottery system works in this league? I ended the season with the 2nd worst record... what are my odds of landing the 1st pick? What is the worst spot I can land?

RC / FA DRAFT RULES

The draft will be only two rounds and includes all NBA Rookies and all FFDL Free Agents (after rosters are trimmed to size). If you add a player in the RC/FA Draft, you must drop a player to make room.

The draft does NOT snake.

The champion, as always, will have the last pick of each round.

Those who finish 2nd to 6th will only receive 1 ball. Those who finish 7th to 9th will receive 3 balls. Those who finish 10th to 12th will receive 5 balls. Those who finish 13th and 14th will receive 8 lottery balls.

That description is not complete. What are the lotto balls used for? Will it be like the nba and the top 3 spots are lotto'd? Or is every spot being lotto'd?

Every spot is lotto'd... except the last spot which is for the champion

I would like to propose an additional rule. If a player retires and is dropped by the person that owns him that owner should have top priority for claiming him off waivers if he decides to return to the league.

But still seems fair. How often will it be an issue? Plus, I would put a time limit on it. Like 5 games; then the player becomes a free agent.

We typically do our lottery on draft night.... but perhaps we should 1st do a call out to see who's returning...
