Baseball Mogul for Baseball is obviously the pinnacle. Are there any similar games for basketball that you guys enjoy? Links appreciated!

Check in the trades and transaction games section on Real GM. It doesn't use a software and everything is done manually on the forum and through email. It gets very addictive and fun, I know there are a few people on the Raptors board that play.

I'm currently trying out buzzerbeater.com. It's alright.

There's this one. It's decent, but fairly easy to dominate.

Football Manager is the grand-daddy of this genre.

Both the "Draft Day Sports: Pro" and "Fast Break" series (eg. Fast Break College Basketball) may be closer to what you're looking for.

They just recently made a new sim game but the original was and IS simply amazing you can play by yourself or join a league which is a ton of fun if they stay active. Only downfall is most leagues die or re-start rather quickly but I literally spent a few years addicted to FBB

browse those forums and look at the online league list I promise you you'll will love it.

Again most of the purists still play the original game and I have not tried the new one but I know they added a ton of features.

Hate to bump this but we are finishing up registration for another GMAT game over on the trades and transaction games board.

Draft Day Sports: Pro Basketball 3 (DDS:PB3) is pretty damn good.
