and season starts on October 17. we need to get this thing going by the end of August, or else we seriously risk losing the first week of the season.

We do tend to be on the slow side.

4-5 years ago I would totally do it, but nowadays I don't have time or energy to be commish.
Only if we did this draft live and we wouldn't even need a commish, but of course live draft means no pick trading during draft.

I guess Floppy can commish although I absolutely hate every rule change he's championed since he's shown up.

It is very nice that everybody ıs nominating each other whilst nobody is stepping up.

ok if all agree how about this "new" rule

The champion got to be next year commish or get other that accept the job otherwise got to leave.

ofc if you all agree with this new rule I only have 2 options
Get someone to step up or be the commish bc I wont leave

I would say instead of punishing the champion, we should make the last placed team to assume commish duties.

If nobody's interested in taking over commish duties from Gokce this summer, I'm okay with the idea of doing a live draft and effectively removing all the commish workload.

nothing agaisnt a live draft but it takes out all the fun of trades during the draft
not to mention
A) in 20 teams x 14 spots with no trades draft gives terrific advantage to #1 till #5 pick
B) if someone miss the draft it almost certain that the gm that runs that team will not be active
C) by having one team ( or two missing it ) the picks close to them will also have advantage

That said and if no other want to step up I dont mind doing it
( stupid question what the commish need to do ? set up the teams in yahoo ? make two threads here for pick comments/trash talk/aka the normal active during the draft and 1st week then shut down till the end + a pick by pick thread ? set pool for any decision ? what the minimum to aprove something 11 out 20 ? more ? less ? anyone old commish would mind just to be something like co-commish if i do some homest mistake and turn it around ? )
Like i said before I dont mind taking my head out of my job for a while and we all know that i m active therefor with a few help and if everyone agree i wouldnt mind doing it

That's pretty much it. Updating the draft board with all the picks and trades made is the thing that is most time consuming (and needs attention around the clock so I constantly need to check in at worst in every 12 hours and I simply dont have the time or energy for that anymore.

We can organize it like this:
I will handle all the draft lottery / getting new gms if necessary/ inputting rosters into yahoo
You can handle updating the draft thread (and I can chip in as much as I can in terms of updating) .

I just want to spend my summer vacation without feeling the obligation to check in FFL draft thread in every few hours.
