It would be great for Williams who have had sponsorship issues since they lost the Venezuelan cash machine over the off-season.

It all depends on how much cash Frank wants to spend;
I think that other teams will value Bottas more than Williams will, the question really becomes are they prepared to toss another big money contract (As Massa is signed for three years at some major coin) at someone like Kimi to replace him or do they want to grab someone young and/or cheap;

IE; Kvyat, Grosjean, Bianchi, Di Resta, etc

While I would love to see Kimi with a car and team to support him, seeing Kvyat in a legit ride next season could be a lot of fun too.

Or Vergne, who I really like. But I imagine Kimi wouldn't be looking for a long term deal so maybe it could work out.

All I know is the next two winters are going to be crazy for driver movement.

I can't imagine Nico and Lewis being on the same team next season;

I am a huge fan of Vergne as well;
But based on the situation which just arose with him being replaced next season, I am not even sure he gets a ride next year.

The pit stop with five laps to go was ballsy,
but its clear nothing can touch that Mercedes power.

Looks like Alonso to McLaren;
And the debate is if it will be Vettel, Bianchi, Grosjean or Hülkenberg taking his spot at Ferrari.

Given that Ferrari is likely a season or two away from being able to close the gap, my leaning would almost be to take a young guy like Bianchi or even Grosjean and see what they can do next season and see if the have the chops to take the 1st seat when Kimi winds it up after next season.

It's official: Vettel will leave RB, most likely for Ferrari. Kvyat will replace him.

Next year will be very interesting.

The tractor never should have been on the track without a Safety car;
Especially in an area where a driver already lost control and crashed into.

Basically short of Lewis having car issues he pretty well has this thing locked?

The burning offseason questions

1) Who ends up with Alonso at McLaren next season?
2) If JB gets bounced does he retire or does someone clear room for him?
3) Do we get another team to replace Murussia?
4) Is this the end of JEV?
3) Will they lightspeed Haas Racing to join in 2015?

Would be nice to see JB at McLaren otherwise, I think he's going to WEC.
Also, looks like JEV is going to Indy.

Its certainly still early to jump to conclusions,

But seemingly Ferrari is looking good, Honda is looking bad,
Who would have thought?

And Maldonado crashes on Turn 2. I know it wasn't his fault, but I couldn't help but laugh.

At this point you almost have to feel for Lotus.
They looked good in qualifying they seem to have a power unit that will allow them to score some points and ten seconds into the race they lose a car
