Andre Agassi - Crystal Meth

Eight-time grand slam winner Andre Agassi revealed in his new book that he used crystal meth and also lied to the Association of Tennis Professionals, the body that organizes the sport worldwide, in order to continue playing.
Agassi's career took off in 1992, when, as a long-haired rebel, he made a clear impact in the tennis world by winning Wimbledon that year. His career peaked in 1995, but by the end of 1997, starting with a wrist injury, Agassi experienced the bleakest year of his life. Plagued by doubts about his ability on the court and with his marriage to Brooke Shields on the rocks, he turned to crystal meth, introduced to him by his assistant to boost his spirit.
Upon receiving a call from an ATP doctor informing him that he failed a drug test for a class 2 recreational drug, Agassi told the doctor that he accidentally drank a soda spiked with crystal meth by his assistant. No action was taken against Agassi, but this revelation may have an impact on his fans.

I'm not surprised. He was a crazy dude in his early years but Meth? Definitely a step too far.
