The Djoker and Clijsters, everybody expects a big come back of Justine though.

The game just finished and Federer won, which sucks. He always seem so smug and arrogant. I am happy for Serena Williams though, she always seems nice and friendly.

lol how is federer smug and arrogant. what a stupid statement. anyway the man won another, hes already by far the best tennis player ever and will end up as a debatable best athlete ever. Next to no one has dominated their sport more than him.

How a person perceives another is subjective and differs to person to person. Calling someones perception stupid is, in itself, a stupid statement. Once you finish hugging Federer's nuts, maybe you'd care to discuss this rationally?

Not really. I don't know any of these players personally, so how I perceive them comes from what I see of them in the media. Every time I see Federer, he just seems like a tool, whereas Serena Williams has always seemed pretty decent to me. Maybe what seems nice to me differs to what seems nice to you or this King23 guy.

Feder has always been more shy and down to earth according to most stories and everyone on the tour would tell that Serena is a bit head strong and arrogant.

I obviously don't have contact with people in the pro tennis world, and I don't really care for tennis, so my views are shaped basically by what I see in the media and interviews on the news. It should also be noted that I never claimed that my views were necessarily correct, something which this King23 guy seems to have forgotten.

^ that was a pretty reasonable statement untill you threw in the nut hugging part.... but ok, what about him seems smug or arrogant to you?

ok ok. in regards to serena didnt she tell a ball girl shed kill her last us open? anyway roger is always humble in interviews and defeat. even though he crys, just means something to him. anyway im intrested to know what about him seems smug? theres only so much he can say, the medias gonna ask him questions that blow his own horn, and when hes the greatest tennis player ever by a huge margin and still in the prime of his career its probably hard to answer some questions without seeming a bit up him self. but hes very respectful to opponents etc

I can't think of any examples off the top of my head right now, but it just seems like he has some pretty decent ego there. Maybe it all just depends on how far you read into the things he says. The way I understand something to be is probably different to the way that you do.

Re: Who will win the 2010 Australian Open?!
Oh, I also wanted to talk about your other statement. Federer has no doubt had a lot of success in his sport, and is probably now regarded by most as the best ever. However, to say that no one else has dominated a sport as much as he has raises a few questions for me.
What about Michael Jordan, the greatest basketball player of all time who dominated the league for his entire career?
How about Bill Russell, who won a record 11 NBA Championships while changing the way that defense is played?
Wilt Chamberlain dominated the sport like almost no other. He scored 100 points in a game, and if I remember correctly, he AVERAGED over 50 points per game.
Muhammad Ali is one of the most recognized athletes in sports history for his boxing achievements.
Wayne Gretzky set almost every record in the NHL.
Don Bradman averaged 99 runs in Test Match cricket, which is about as impressive as averaging 80 points per game in the NBA.
Tony Lockett broke the AFL goal-kicking record with over 1300 goals in his career.
This is not to say that Federer isn't a damn good tennis player, but I think saying that no one has dominated a sport like he has is to ignore or overlook a few other athletes who have achieved amazing things.

I should also apologize for the "nut-hugger"" comment. The whole being called stupid thing just bugged me.
