Watch out for Kolya Davydenko.

Fedex doesn't look as a favourite to win it all for me. Plus he's got a tough way to get to the finals.

My top 3 favourites are :

1. Davydenko
2. Nadal
3. Del Potro

Women ? I wish Dementieva would kick Serena's but. Elena is in good shape and can get at least to the semi-finals.

Who'll win ? Oh, well, women are playing and you never know with them what's going on !? Serena, Dementieva and Azarenka as my top 3.

Sharapova loses but Maria Kirilenko is the last player you expect to play 1st rd. after a lengthy lay off from the game.

yeah, Maria Kirilenko came up big and focus in the third set to take the match. Sharapova committed a lot mistakes. Nevertheless, Sharapova looked like her shoulder didn't bother anymore, since her serving was potent.
Congrats Maria Kirilenko, you played nice tennis.

OTH, Clijsters reaches the second round easily and also Safina is making her way to advance.

Can we say Justine is a solid contender? She beat Dementieva in 2 emotional sets.
IMO, Williams sisters, Justine and Kim are solid contenders for the Aussie open.

OTH, Del Potro survives in 5 sets against Blake.
Damn it! Here the games are very late, can be awake :S

Y Nadal sigue su camino hacia la defensa del titulo, espero que lo vuelva a ganar y recupere su nivel. ;)

LOL at "Paging Dr. ****" making an appearance at the Australian Open: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VJehkz9CfD4

My boy Baghdatis is coming off winning his 4th career tourney. Should be interesting how he handles Ferrer.

Clijsters got beaten by Petrova. 6-0 6-1. Never expected that and watching the game I'd say that scoreline was an accurate read.

Del Potro was ousted. Didn't really see it coming but he wasn't playing a scrub either... I never really pulled for him but after last year, I'm really hoping Roddick gets another major.

It was coming for him, he was lucky to get through Blake.

Petrova is going to be a real tough test physically for Henin after a lay off.

By the way the QF fixtures

Womens:

Serena vs Azarenka
Li vs Venus
Zheng vs Kirilenko
Henin vs Petrova

Mens:

Federer vs Davydenko
Djokovic vs Tsonga
Roddick vs Cilic
Nadal vs Murray

All the men's games are a must watch now.

Hey J-Far como viste a Verdasco contra Davydenko? Casi lo gana y parece que al final le ganaron los nervios. Cometió muchas dobles faltas.

Any thought on Verdasco Davydenko match?

I wasn't able to watch the complete game but I have a feeling that there is some sort of a good vibe with Davydenko this year. He had a great start by beating Nadal and Federer before the Aus open and he seems to be pulling through whenever he faces adversity. If he beats Federer I'd put some money on him. :D

Murray feels very confident. Seems like he's bringing it all to the Aussie Open.
OTH, Cilic reaches semis by beating A-Rod.
Happy ending for Henin? Potential Williams-Henin Final

I watched the Roddick - Cilic game and it was just a game of momentum shifts. Cilic had it at the beginning and Roddick looked miserable, then the tide turned for the other 2 sets and finally Cilic's quality pulled through.

Murray vs Nadal was pretty late so I just watched the 1st set and Murray's serve and volley game looks great.
