Will Nadal ever be healthy?

Seems like the guy is so injury prone, but when he's healthy he turns into Federer's nightmare. This is not the first time Nadal leaves a tournament for an injury (he was injured at US Open last year)
IMO, Nadal is the best player at defending the most impossible shots.
Hopefully, the guy comes back big and wins Roland Garros.

Hope so too and will have to wiat until his test results come out to see what action he's going to take on his knee. If I were him I'd much rather sit out the Davis cup tourneys.

I just saw on CNN that Nadal will rest at least one month to recover his knee.

One month is pretty cool actually to get in shape for the French.

I think I might lose a big hero if that situation arises.

I tend to think that stereotype has been shot to hell. THE steroids guy in baseball continued to play into his late 30s getting better all the time. The guy presented as the contrast to Bonds (Griffey) hit a wall in what should have still been his prime and was plagued with injuries from then on.
I'm not saying Nadal was NOT on steroids, but I don't believe for a minute that steroids are what causes him at age 23 to breakdown.

I was actually contemplating making the exact same thread.
IMO, there maybe minor problems in his knee..But I think a big part of Nadal is in his head as well.. I do hope the extra month helps..
It will be sad as we would have another "what if" story in sports ala Bo Jackson, Ronaldo and so forth..
It really is amazing how just less than a year ago this was the guy who was made the best player of all time break down after a loss in a grand slam, the same player who people thought Federer's chance of gaining the most grand slams was in jeoperdy becuase of him and at the age of 22 could have made a strong argument of being the best clay court player of all time.

His grinding it out playing style is going to really limit the length of his career
