LaRavia hasn't looked aggressive to me. Kinda hoped he'd hunt for more offensive opportunities. Looks like he will be purely relying on Ja and others to set him up.

My thoughts are that it's summer league and he's just finding his footing with the team in terms of chemistry and timing himself on the floor. He tends to be a better catch and shoot player on the perimeter. Whereas he rather than create his own shot closer to the basket or someone assist him in a back cut play. I believe the more he gets his feet wet, the more we will see his capabilities.

My impression is that neither Roddy nor Jake weren’ supposed to be primary offensive weapons in the games I watched. The role they were assigned with was likely to just complement and support.

Yeah, neither are really shot creators. This is why I was against our draft initially because I believe another shot creator is needed off the bench. Then we got Kenny Lofton....

If you had control of the draft, who would you had the Grizzlies draft/trade for to address what their needs?

It's possible that the Grizzlies had them played in this role as the support team. If so, then it would make it easier as breaking the ice as they continue to break in their NBA careers.

Given what I put out before draft time, I would have picked Dalen Terry, Marjon Beauchamp, Gui Santos, and Lofton/Barlow in UDFA.

Others late round/UDFA I liked with more experience who could come in and contribute right away were Jabari Walker, Keon Ellis, Tyrese Martin, Jared Rhoden, Ryan Turell, Quenton Jackson, and Trevor Hudgins (first 3 having the best shot imho).
