What an absolute nonsense ejection for Ja. Utterly ridiculous. He was talking to a Grizz fan and the ref claims it was comments said directly to him. Doubt it would have swung the game, but still sucks for those in OKC who paid to watch Ja play.

That scenario with Ja's ejection was stupid to say the least. It would be one thing if Ja took his frustrations out on the ref personally and deserved the ejection. However, he was talking to a fan in the audience. Whether the two was talking about the ref, only they they know. Plus, even if the ref discern that the conversation was about him missing a call or made the wrong call, to me if the player in question is not addressing the ref, then why should an ejection be the result.

Yeah multiple fans in the area said the fan yelled "Let's get going" to Ja and he said something like "I will once I get a f***ing call". The refs look really bad when after the game they said Ja was not talking to a fan but directly to the ref when there is a video that looks like Ja is obviously talking to a fan and the ref comes from behind Ja to give him a tech and toss him.

The ref who made the call should've been fined for that call as Ja did not directly address the ref in that instance. The ejection was bogus regardless of how the game was going.
