GAME 30: MEM vs DEN

National broadcast game. Will be fun seeing Jamal Murray again plus Jokic is always exciting. We are entering a tough stretch plus will have national attention the next few games so hopefully the OKC game was a wakeup call for us. Bane also may be back for the Christmas Day game which would be big.

These refs are crazy bad tonight (20-3 FTs at the half!?) but we aren't losing because of them. We are playing terrible and they are playing great. Gotta come out strong in the 3rd (and pray the refs settle down).

Ja spouts that he doesn't fear any team other than the Celtics. Pretty arrogant considering they play in a very tough Western Conference, including a team that just whomped them playing w/o two of their best players. Now I get confidence, but I also get placing a target on your back while insulting your competition. He's young but that just seemed foolish to me

For better or worse, I think it is just confidence. They see themselves as contenders and their biggest threat seems to be Boston so that is who they are mentally chasing. It does put a target on our backs but it also is something that elevates our play so we will see.
