GAME 58: MEM vs PHI

Hopefully Adams is back in order to deal with Embiid. We also get to see our old friend Melton again who has had a great year so far.

It looks like Adams is ruled out for tonight. This will be a tough one without him. In our prior matchup against Philly, we alternated JJJ and Adams on Embiid. From any eye-test perspective, they did great - but then you look at the box score and Embiid still had a tremendous game. JJJ ended up sealing the win with a block on Embiid at the rim in the clutch.

Without Adams, I think Embiid may be too much tonight. Harden missed the prior matchup as well, and he'll obviously pose problems for us on the defensive end tonight.

Philly with a couple high difficulty key threes down the stretch and us not being able to generate offense sunk us. Ja drives to the paint with heavy traffic doesn't work without Adams to open a lane and clean up the miss.

Not impressed with you guys at all. Have some good athletes but too many mental midgets. Yuk!

Not the way to resume the season with a loss. With only a month and a half of the season left, the Grizzlies can't afford to have these losses to mount up. They have been thankful to keep hold of second place to this point. Now their lucky that the losing they been mounting up has not cost them second place so far to this point. They must realize the are now in the toughest gauntlet the WC has been produce in quite a while. Whether they're fine in the West or not, they need to get some consistent wins going and fast.

Yet another double digit lead collapse. We really miss Adams and have to start benching some players who think they are stars.
