There’s also the matter of Luke Kennard’s future to figure out in Memphis, after the Grizzlies declined his $14.8 million team option for 2024-25

Reports say they likely will agree to a new deal. I'm guessing it is 2-3 years and puts us under the first apron.

I have heard 3 x 11, but I am on the low end of believers in his impact on the floor, so I would rather give some minutes to Spencer and Wells.

This has been a really quiet offseason for us, anyone knows what´s going on behind the scenes?

Your guess is as good as mine.

We were loosely linked to Daniel Theis at one point and also linked to resigning Kennard, but other than that I haven't seen any news really.

Me neither. Are we keeping Rose? Are we re-signing Lamar?

Not counting Luke, we already have 13 guys under contract and $164 million in payroll. With that being the state of affairs, I didn't expect us to do much - but I did expect us to do something, sheesh. The fact that we declined the option on Luke without having reached an agreement on a new deal despite having plenty of time to negotiate before the deadline (to decline) is concerning.

I think some of the delay is just because as soon as we sign him we lose some of our trade flexibility. Woj mentioned the Grizz had reached out to the Jazz about Lauri so I guess we are seeing if there are other deals out there prior to signing him with whatever room we have up to the first apron.

My prediction for the rest of the offseason is we trade Ziaire and a 2nd for Sharpe from BKN for cheap C depth, resign Luke for 3/33 or so, and then resign Lamar.

Reports say we are still expected to resign Luke and we are trying to dump Ziaire.

Ziaire has been dumped and brought us to 10 million below the luxury tax. I would think that the resigning of Luke is imminent, and I would guess that he gets a three year deal.
