This article by Kenny Smith talks about when teams hit the mediocrity ceiling. It maybe that time to break things down to start over again. Case in point to what the Grizzlies did with Pau Gasol on Friday by trading him to the Lakers. The Grizzlies weren't able to contend wit hthe Western Conference teams with the roster they currently have and the chemistry was no longer working. So it was time the Grizzlies change directions. Smith also thinks that other teams like the Nets and Bulls should do the same thing as well. Accept facts that you're team has hit it's limit to go no further than it already has. Time to break things down, reset the roster, and rebuild for the better of yout team.
