cavs- mem
Pavs, Ira + Shannon for Mike Miller
you clear out another $5 million in cap space this summer
low risk for you Griz, and you get themselves over $15 million in cap room this summer in a matter of just a few days.
Would you guys do this?

If you throw in the first and some money I think it is probable. The Grizzlies probably are looking for the cash because they expect around a 20 million dollar loss. I don't know if they need another first for this year but they can try to package the Lakers and Cavs pick and trade up. It also gives them the flexibility to trade the later pick for 3 million.

Out of curiousity would this trade be more appealing to you? There was a report in a Cleveland paper today stating the the Grizzles had shown quite a bit of interest in Pavlovic in the past. Obviously the plus side of you guys taking back Gooden would be to dump Cardinal on us. Navarro is obviously the other guy added to the original deal above because flat out I just want him on the Cavs.
I honestly am not sure what you guys are looking for, so whats your take on this?

I don't think that Gooden fits what MI is trying to do. They want to spread the floor more so he has been playing Gay at PF. Gooden doesn't fit that floor-spacing PF.
I also don't think JCN is going anywhere. The Grizzlies have had some problems with PG health and SG depth. I think they would rather let him walk then trade him.

I would only do the deal if theis years #1 and #2 from CLE were included.
Cavs don't have a #2 and I doubt we give up our #1 with our current dire need of talent through the draft...
I think throwing in Donyell Marshall from our side and Brian Cardinal from yours would make it a better deal as Marshall is expiring next year and you guys could save around 20 mil the next 2 years...
So:
Mike Miller
Brian Cardinal
for
Donyell Marshall
Ira Newble
Sasha Pavlovic
Shannon Brown

That one just would be good to watch a final KOBE VS LEBRON with 4 ex-grizzs players playing in there. entire world would watch that final, more than the final NJN-SPURS, lol.

Just an idea....quincy douby has a long wingspan, and is a pretty good defender. had big time scorering abilities.
