Miami saves money trading down, they get depth, they acquire 3 players for the price of 1. Plus, they currently have no legit PG anyway.
Memphis gets a player that many teams would pick #1 and he will fill a huge hole for the team
and Minnesota fills their roster (and they will give the Blazers a run for their money).
I am going to post this on the Heat thread, see what they think.

I don't think the T-Wolves would do this trade. However, I would not be surprised at all if the Heat and Grizzlies are able to work something out. If the Heat could get Lowery + Miller + Draft Rights to OJ Mayo FOR Beasley and fillers, it might work out well for both teams.
As for Beasely going number 1 to the Bulls, I have to think they are going to draft Rose. I would be shocked if they pass on "Jason Kidd" with a jump shot! He would make this entire team better immediately. They already have some solid post guys; they need an upgrade at PG, and Rose is an obvious upgrade!

No man, that doesn't work for Miami at all. We're not giving up a potential superstar for the 5th pick, Mike Miller, and one of your extra point guards. That pick has a lot more value than people seem to realize.

They are getting the 3rd pick (not 5) in Mayo, Lowry, and a return of their first round pick. With the way the Heat are playing, that first round pick is very valuable. And seriously, Quinn Williams and Banks?

The trade I quoted involved Memphis, not Minnesota.

With the addition of the #2, to go along with Wade, Marion, and Haslem, I'm confident it's value will not be that significant.
And seriously, Quinn Williams and Banks?
Do we need to get into the Grizzlies roster woes? Or how about their trade mistakes? Thanks again for your part in the championship. We couldn't have done it without you. Looks like the Lakers should be thanking you, as well.
Seriously though, our point guard situation does not make us desperate and it certainly does not make us stupid enough to do this trade. If a team wants to jump up and deal for our pick, it's going to take far better than this. This is a two player draft, and the entire basketball world knows it. We're in control, not you. Recognize that fact and react accordingly please...

The Miami pick is top 10 lottery protected. Why would they do this foolish trade? It makes no sense at all. If Miami is bad next year they tank to keep there pick, again it makes no sense at all. Personally i hope we get Beasley because he has he talent to become a stud pf and should put up number similar or better than durant.

Talk about mature modding...
Anyways, Miami fans have no right to talk. They were lucky to upstage the Mavericks large part to referees not allowing Wade to be breathed on.
