I think you should relay your complaints to administrators.

As for the quotes, the admins have already fixed this feature and it should be working normally- there is a distinction between quotes. If it isn't, bring it to light because this is going to be corrected fairly quickly. As for the entire process, it is currently pretty difficult because we need to get used to this format, but once the kinks are fixed, everything should be better.

Hmm...my post seems to have disappeared.

Anyway, it's a disaster.

So they are trying to improve performance before the draft, but I have seen nothing but horrible performance from the site.

Well, the NBA draft is usually the peak of when users visit this site. The old server was unable to handle such traffic so it was time for an upgrade. If the server crashed, nothing would be accessible at all. I would say this is better than nothing, but that the kinks still need to be taken care of.

I understand jman... but being in IT, sometimes upgrading software costs you more in performance even when upgrading hardware. Does RealGM have an actual IT 'staff'?

Seems kind of generic when you start the drill downs...
but if it saves the site from crashing, I guess they had no choice

Yes, some of the admins work IT. That is interesting to hear. You may be able to make some nice suggestions then.

Personally, I do not really like the format mostly due to the kinks and my aversion to change in general. But, hopefully, this will allow us more freedoms. Also, it integrated the NFL, MLB and other sections, making them more readily accessible. (although I do not really care much about other sports) I'm not saying I agree 100 percent with the timing of the change, but if it was necessary, then okay. But, the kinks should be fixed pretty soon.
