I am curious as to what you guys think of him. You have had him for the 2nd half of the season and I saw him playing mostly not as a PG. I believe his future is as a PG regardless of how he has been employed.
What do you witnesses think?

He doesn't have a future in the NBA then, if it's predicated on being a Point.
He'll be a fine scoring combo guard though.

Re: Javaris Crittenton
From what I witnessed, he didn't always make good decisions with the ball.
He has the talent and ability to penetrate the defense, but once he did, his decision making seemed unsure. His overpenetration may have been the result of his inexperience or the fact that we had a terrible team last year and his teammates weren't in the correct spacing patterns. I'm not sure I saw enough of his outside shooting to know how good/bad of a perimeter jumper he owns.
I'm with GGF, I think he will make a fine combo guard with most of his time being at the 2 instead of the 1 spot. But he has time to get much better.

To echo other posters, I see him more as a combo guard than a point - but at this point, I'd prefer to keep him as Conley's backup and move Lowry (to reduce the PG glut on the roster) if only because he gives us something different than Lowry & Conley.

Thanks for the responses.
I for one, would love to see him in Atlanta, at the point.

He's just not ready to run an NBA offense yet.
