I've read on the Heat getting Chalmers. Pretty good trade for the Heat. Since the raft is set to conclude in a few minutes. Which teams you feel had the better drafts and worst drafts

Better Drafts

Portland
New Jersey
Miami
Indiana

Worst Drafts

Spurs
Kings
Pistons
Rockets?

I sure hope so. With the Grizz's luck and FO failings - I seriously doubt it though.

I took your post as asking "why was that a wasted pick?" I was explaining why the pick sucked.

Haha.... I was asking a rhetorical question and then answering it.

Love, Miller, Cardinal, Collins

for

Mayo, Jaric, Buckner, Antoine Walker

Could this be a pre-cursor to getting Beasley???

Wow - I'd shut down my computer last night and went to bed watching Sportscenter - totally blew my mind. I'm wondering if the Grizz gave up too much?

Oh well - at least Chris Wallace borrowed his balls back from Heisley long enough to roll the dice.

I don't think so. Miller was not going to be here when the Grizz were good, and the Grizz got back two good expiring deals for next summer, and traded Cardinal for a player (Jaric) that will actually see the court regularly!

Nope, not at the time. I wasn't aware of all of the $'s involved in the contracts we took back. All and all I'm happy with the deal though.

Just in case you missed my other post in a different thread.

Walker is basically a $9M expiring contract. Collins $6M.

Miller and Cardinal will earn a combined $16.5M after the 08/09 season. Jaric and Buckner will earn a combined $11.1 giving us an additional $5.4M in savings.

The last 2 years of Buckner's deal are only guaranteed for $1m. So if he's waived next off season it only costs $1m to get rid of him.
