OJ Mayo
Hey guys Im a big OJ Mayo fan. Im kinda wondering what are your expectations for Mayo this season and for the future? Ive heard alot of talk about how he might be brought along slow with your loaded backcourt but he seems like he could steip right in and do big things for your team right away.

Re: OJ Mayo
mayo will start at shooting guard conley is the pg. both will start from day one there is not one player at the position mayo plays better then him on the grizz and yes he is a shooting guard he is big enough and has proven he can score. he is the same height as dwade and like 5 inches taller then iverson who plays sg so i dont see how he cant play it effectivly.

Re: OJ Mayo
I think it will be interesting to see how OJ and Rudy mix together on the floor. Below is my take on the lineup at the beginning of the season and the end. As far as OJ's stat line, I could see it range anywhere from:
pts/ast/stl/reb
12/3/2/3
to as high as
19/5/3/4
It is nice to have a true distributor at PG in Conley, and I think that without a great PF the load will fall to both Rudy, OJ, and MGasol to do most of the scoring.
Below are my ppg estimates for the whole team (so I'm sure the roster will change soon):
Conley 10 / Lowry 8
Mayo 17 / Jaric 9 / Critt 5
Gay 23 /
Warrick 12 / Arthur 6
Milicic 8 / Gasol 12
Starting 5 at the beginning of season:
Conley
Mayo
Gay
Warrick
Milicic
end of the season ( I think we can consider Feb 1 to have already sealed the Grizz fate of not being in the playoffs!
Conley
Mayo
Gay
Arthur
MGasol
pts/ast/stl/reb
12/3/2/3
to as high as
19/5/3/4

Re: OJ Mayo
So you're predicting that the Griz average 110+ ppg? A little generous I think hah. We would be a top 2 or 3 seed if we could do that...
