This is a board wide questionnaire in light of grim news from Toronto. What if Toronto offered Bosh + 2010 1st pick for Mayo+Milcic?

Well, if he didn't agree to an extension beforehand, then I would rule out trading for him completely. I wouldn't want there to be any possibility of him walking in 2010, because with the Grizzlies market, cheap demeanor, and luck, he would do just that.

Now, let's say he did agree to sign an extension with Memphis before he was traded. Then I would make everyone on the team, with the exception of O.J. Mayo, available, for an inside/outside tandem consisting of two superstars in Mayo and Bosh would just be too good to pass up. If I were Heisley/Wallace, I would offer the Raptors this trade and see if they would bite-

Grizzlies get- Chris Bosh

Raptors get- Rudy Gay, Mike Conley, the rights to Restricted free agent Hakim Warrick, and the Magic's 2009 first round pick.

Now that trade doesn't work out salary-wise as of right now, but this is because the Grizzlies have around $12 million in expiring contracts right now, so when those contracts expire this summer, the trade would easily work salary-wise.

The Raptors get a young, rising star in Rudy Gay, a starting-caliber and ever-improving point guard in Mike Conley, who will become a very valuable trade chip for the Raps down the line, the rights to a very good post scorer that can provide instant inside scoring off the bench in Hakim Warrick, and a late 1st round pick. The Grizz could sweeten the pot by adding another 1st rounder or their 2009 2nd round pick. The Raps get a lot of value back instead of losing Bosh for absolutely nothing, and they would also get a lot of immediate cap relief.

The Grizzlies get a superstar big man that can play brilliantly on both ends of the floor paired up long-term with a rising superstar guard in O.J. Mayo. They would have the foundation of a championship team, and a lottery pick in the draft along with some cap space this summer to work with. The core of Mayo, Gay, and Conley is good, but a core of Mayo and Bosh locked up long-term would be great.

Not for OJ Mayo. Not at all without an extension.

I wouldn't want him as my superstar, period. But, if he was available and willing to sign a contract extension, then it's tough to pass him up.
