I was wondering what grizzlie fans would think of this trade:

clippers: #1 (Griffin) + Bad Contract

for

grizzlies: #2 (Rubio) + Rudy Gay

filler/picks as you feel is needed.

??? Any thoughts?

I think it gives Bosh a weapon he can use and that will be better alongside him for years to come. Bargnani gets to go on a team which is rebuilding and on which he will be able to play the position that suits him best PF.

Very interesting proposal - however, as a Grizz fan, I'm not thrilled with the prospect of Bargs at the 4. I greatly respect his game, but I'm ready for the Grizz to bring in a banger at the 4.

Marc Gasol is your banger on the inside, Bargnani would fit nicely on Memphis. He woudl have the opportunity to really be the number 1 option.

So we're essentially trading Gay for Bargs? Seems decent. Would Grizz fans rather have Kapono than Jaric though?

Coming off the bench, I think Kapono can provide some quick offense. Jaric feels a need for the Raptors because he can play PG & SG, but if we only look at the numbers, I think Kapono has shown he can produce more than Jaric. They also make the deal work for in terms of salaries.

It's a fair trade but as a Grizzlies fan I'd have to say no thanks.

We (Grizzlies) need a 4 that can score in the paint. Bargnani has to much Dirk in him. He wants to move out of the paint to score.

Yes Marc Gasol is a banger in the middle but he needs help and without Gay, Mayo becomes the #1 option not Bargs.

#1 overalls have tremendous value but that's aksing to much.
