While I agree that Al Horford fits like a glove for Memphis, I see reasons why Atlanta doesn't do this. When you factor in Zaza Pachulia is an unrestricted free agent, the Hawks are extremely thin with big men if you take Horford away, especially if they presumably use the #2 pick on Rubio. You can hypothetically say they can re-sign Pachulia but if I were the Hawks GM(Rick Sund, who is just a terrible GM) I would be wary of having just Josh Smith with no guarantees of getting help behind him.
Darell Arthur and/or Haddadi would need to be included in a package for Horford. And the Hawks would need to hang onto the #19 pick to draft a big man such as Mullens as insurance.

It is really sad the crap we get offered for the #2 pick but I guess we brought it upon our self for the idiotic past deals we have done.
I agree with this guy, due to historical data it's clear memphis has set a standard of trading below par which will take some time to get out of. I mean i like your franchise and really think you guys need a break, for instance if you guys can just snag ONE superstar I feel it could change things there for you. All it will take is one superstar...maybe 2010 you can make some ridiculous offer to one of the young stars and turn things around.
