Rubio won the Spanish ACB MVP & Defensive Player of the Year Awards so, where does that incorrect information come from?

duba is trying to sour you all on Rubio... but a better strategy, mentioned earlier, is to draft Rubio and trade his rights. Conley, Mayo, Gay is solid scoring and passing trio.

If the realgm preview is accurate, the Grizz need a back-to-the basket offensive post presence with good rebounding/defense. Thabeet gives no offense basically other than put backs or occasional lobs (against 6'9 centers in college but won't work nearly as much in the NBA). That's why you need a Bynum. There is a huge debate on the Laker board about Bynum v Rubio, the post-Kobe era and building around a 21 yo future frachise Center or 18 yo future franchise PG.

Quick question: What is the story with Warrick? Is Memphis picking up his final year QO?

The Grizz will have some interest in Warrick if he can be had inexpensively.

I agree that they will qualify Warrick and deal with any offers another team comes up with that are better. You don't just let skilled players walk away. Pretty much every team qualifies their first round draft picks and goes from there.

Is Rubio actually a more valuable defender than Thabeet?

So if you draft him are you guys going to be singing: " We got Thabeet, we got Thabeet, we got Thabeet, Everybody get off your feet, we got the Thabeet!"
