Gasol is a keeper for the Grizz, I think you guys are building a twin tower in Gasol and Theabeet.

Now that you've acquired Z-Bo Gasol seems to be expandable.

I was wondering if there is anything the wolves have that you'd like in exchange for gasol or do you still plan with him long term?
Your starting 5 seems pretty much set now and I don't know what we could offer you that you'd like.

Don't know if you plan with Conley long term but you know we obviously have some PG's and...of course some PF's...
We also have quite a few picks that could be included like 1sts from Charlotte (top 12 protected - 2014 unprotected) & Utah (top 15 protected)
If you want to shred some salary we can offer you expirings like cardinal and thomas in a few days and would take back jaric/buckner.

How so? Currently, Gasol is the best center we have on the roster, and Zbo is currently the best PF we have on the roster. If anybody is expendable now, it's Hakim Warrick IMO.

Huh? "Now that you've acquired PF X, Center Y is not expendable!" - Bizzaro World logic there...

Right now I see him here for the life of his contract. Nothing on the Wolves of interest, at least that the Wolves are willing to move.

Nah - don't see it happening right now.

After the Randolph trade, I see a 3-man rotation at PF and C.

Gasol and Randolph will start, obviously, since they are the two best at the moment.

Gasol can get 20 minutes a game at C, and 14 at PF (34 minutes total)
Randolph gets 34 minutes a game at PF.
Thabeet gets 28 minutes a game at C off the bench.

Gasol is a good player, they won't be getting rid of him. This will lessen the minutes that he's forced to play PF, since that obviously isn't his best position.

Thanks for the comments. I just thought Gasol would see many minutes as a PF with Thabeet being the choice in the draft and then you acquired ZBo as a new PF but I really haven't seen Gasol playing much PF, so you'll be right then. Anyways, I think you're quite in a simular situation like Minnesota right now with two centers who'll be demanding to play a lot if Thabeet develops into a great C. But I guess this isn't the worst problem to have ;)

The issue is that Gasol is a true 5, as is Thabeet. When Darko and Gasol were on the floor at the same time, Darko was at the 4. Gasol is too slow/not athletic enough to guard most 4's effectively. Sure, there may be some odd matchups that allow for Thabeet and Gasol to both be out there, but I'm guessing they will be few and far between. However, I'd be ecstatic if Marc could prove me wrong.

I think Gasol will be a perfect backup C and PF. I dont think he can start with Randolph at PF though.
