thabeet
gasol
hadididi(forget how to spell his name)

will there be enough mins to go around for all 3. thabeet i would expect gets less mins but hes the 2nd overall pick you gotta play him. marc gasol has proven himself to be serviceable and i dunno about the otehr guy. whos mins are gonna suffer?

my opinion......

Gasol - 30 mpg
Thabeet - 18 mpg
Hadaddi - DNP (unless injury to Marc or Hasheem)

That sounds about right. However, in the early part of the season, I think Thabeet will be in foul trouble enough to give Hadaddi some of those 18 mpgs.

bigballa on point on the rotation. On mins like jefe said, may depend on how Thabeet plays and how well he can keep out of foul trouble.

i'm not a grizzlies fan, but with the addition of zach randolph and already having darrell arthur and rookie demarre carroll on the roster, i doubt gasol/thabeet would be on the court at the same time. though anything is possible i guess.

I read some blurb in the course of training camp coverage that mentioned Gasol at the 4 was a possibility given his weight loss - but I also read Zbo at the 5 in a small lineup was a possibility too. :)

i was thinking something like that since both gasol shared the court for spanish team (with the C mentality Pau has always had).

I watched the NYK-Grizzlies summer league game. i was wondering if Carrol will finally play more mins than Thabeet.

If Thabeet is not able to stay on the floor for more than 12 minutes a game than look for him early in the season to spend some much needed time in the NBADL. He was out played by Hamed Haddadi in the summer league and it may be more of the same in training camp so he will not be given the backup center position over the international superstar. It all depends on how much of a project he actually is.

As for the possibility of them playing together, I would not look for it as that would mean someone sustained an injury or unless their is no chance of a transition play and it is a defensive set at the end of a quarter.

By the way does anyone know if Steven Hunter is in training camp? I haven't heard any news about him and I didn't think the Heisley Exchange had already opened for business, I'm sorry I mean if he had been bought out.
