Tip-ins: The Griz plan to unveil their alternate road jersey Monday during an open practice from 6 to 8 p.m. at Memphis University School. Space is limited. ... Veteran Zach Randolph and rookie DeMarre Carroll will be on hand to speak at Norris Elementary School on Monday as the Griz tip off their Read to Achieve initiative. The program starts at 9:30 a.m.

The powder blue is good. For some reason, I think writing of Memphis could use more attitude. Otherwise, don't mind it.

I just dug through some old stuff and found one of my hoodies from when they were still here in Vancouver. It's nice to see they have kept the logo that's on the shorts exactly the same all these years, even if they are a different color.

Those are good-looking alternates for sure. A bit Nugget-ish to be sure, but hey, if some Nugget attitude can somehow be absorbed through the jerseys, I'd be ok with that.

most people seem to like them so I guess they did a good job - but I would have liked something a little darker and off the wall. We should be the Memphis PolarBears if we are sticking with the blue color because Grizzlies are BROWN not Blue. and yeah they look too close to Nuggets which are awful colors and look WNBA
