The Grizz made a game out of this and got the win as a result. They did a great job shutting down Dirk, forcing him to score under 20pts for the first time in a while. If a strong defense renders Dirk under 20pts, You definately have a chance to win the game. The Grizz also forced the Mavs to shoot themselves out the game by making them die by the perimeter shots going 8-29 from the field. The Mavs collectively shot 35% from the field. Which tells you that the Grizz played some tough defense against a tough Mavs team tonight. Enjoy the win Grizzlies.
