*beep* you all!

Post#1 » by SeattleJazzFan » Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:52 pm

Ronnie Brewer has been my favorite Jazz player since the day he was drafted. I love the guy.

He's been a bit of a disappointment this year, but as a Brewer homer, I chalk that up to being part of a overcrowded wing rotation and never having a sense of security despite starting every game the last two years. You guys are getting a very good young player and will be shocked at well he moves without the ball to get himself easy buckets (read: dunks). The steals and lack of turnovers is a bonus too - IIRC, he leads the league in steal/to ratio. I'm also hoping he is able to shine in what I would consider a less structured offense in Memphis than the one he played in Utah.

Worst case, you are getting a young, athletic, starter and contributor on the WC's third place team and winners of 15 of 17. Not bad for Memphis if you ask me.

Why so hostile. He will be appreciated here. Grizz fans are stoked about the acquisition.

Thread title was a joke - obviously not the funny kind, but it was a joke, nonetheless. Grizzlies are now my second favorite team (if not first - we'll see how that goes now that my favorite player is gone).

He has not been a disappointment this year. He has been huge defensively and made several key plays throughout the Jazz' recent tear.

Hilarious that I make a post about my favorite Jazz player, complimenting him throughout and saying how much I think Grizzly fans will like having him around and this is the comment you choose to focus on.

You depressed much?
