The obvious question this year is "How good/bad will the Grizzlies bench be?" On this issue, I've been kind of focused on this year's backcourt additions to our team. But I'd be interested to hear peoples' thoughts on the frontcourt players.
Personally I think we'll see Rudy's minutes stay about the same and maybe there will be a slight drop in Marc and Zach's minutes (if only to keep those two fresh and healthy). I think it could play out like:
Rudy 39 minutes (about the same as last year)
Marc 35 minutes (about 1 minute less than last year)
Zach 35 minutes (about 2 minutes less than last year)
That leaves around 35 minutes to distribute to the frontcourt.
I see Hasheem getting around 13-16 minutes per game. He received 13 minutes per game last year, and if he's improved then he'll probably see the same (or additional) time.
I see Arthur getting about the same amount of playing time as last year (13 minutes). But I just checked the numbers and the guy is shooting a (pretty bad) 43% from the field. I look at a player like DA and see a fair amount of skill and talent, but you just can't shoot that poorly or be that inefficient as a power-forward. If he is as bad offensively as he's been the last couple of years, he might not even see 13 minutes a game.
I see the rest of the minutes being something like Hamed/Kenny Thomas/Luke Jackson/Demarre getting about 10-12 minutes per game between them, some of those minutes going to Sam Young/Xavier Henry if we run with a 3-guard lineup
How do you guys see the minutes being parsed out? Are there any lineups you're maybe interested in seeing?

Gasol - 33 MPG
Randolph - 35 MPG
Gay - 36 MPG
Thabeet - 15 MPG
Arthur - 13 MPG
Young/Henry/Allen - 12 MPG
Trying to satisfy the starters'' expectations for minutes while trying not to overwork them (particularly Gasol and Gay).
I'm really curious how Coach Hollins will distribute the minutes at SG/SF...Gay, Mayo, Allen, Young and Henry (and I guess Carroll).
