Re: Postgame Grizz/Werewolves Vote
As much as I would like to be a Rudy Gay homer and give him the player of the game, I cannot do that. He and OJ Mayo were largely on par with one another, with Mayo probably having the better night.
However, the best player in this contest clearly was Mike Conley Jr. From a statistical perspective, anytime you are 3 rebounds away from a triple double and another three steals away from a quadruple double, you have to be given the nod. He controlled the tempo and put our two wings in a position to score. Kudos to Conley.

OJ, followed closely by Mike and his flirtation with a quad double.

I can see your argument there jman. In two out of the three game so far. Conley has seem to step up his game a bit. He has to make sure that upgraded confidence keep him motivated enough to play this tough for the majority of the season. We always talked about needing a tough PG who knows his way around the game plus being more aggressive and confident enough to put the team in position to help win games. If Mike can do that, the Grizz may finally have something to work with for a change.

I guess we don't have a choice with a wait and see approach now. (given this huge contract we just inked him to)
