what about..*gulp* picks, and or cap relief. we can`t help you in the PG department, or anything else really. I dunno tho, what are you guys looking for at the moment to add to the team. I cant see your FO giving up on Thabeet just because you already have gasol, but there must be something you would want.

lets be honest.

Gasol is poised to be a Top 3 Center for the next 7-10 years.

How many teams have that?

There is his value............

My bad boogiesdad. Honestly, which of your C's do you guys consider expendable? Are you grooming Thabeet to become the backup for Marc or could they play significant minutes on the floor at the same time? What about Haddadi?

For me, it's Thabeet.

I think we'll know pretty quickly this season. Haven't given up on him altogether, but he really needs to play with a better motor. As a #2 pick it's been a disappointment, but who knows, maybe he'll grow this season. Grizz certainly need him to get much better.

Oh and I definitely think Haddadi is expendable. He's got a decent skillset on offense but he's plodding and he's not particularly efficient (turns the ball over more frequently than Thabeet and 41.9% career FG). Maybe he'll be a decent backup for some team though.

What would they need to offer Gasol for him to feel appreciated? After signing Rudy Gay an $82M/5y extension, I cant imagine how much they will offer Gasol. I guess between $40M/60M per 5y.

I'm guessing that a question only Gasol can answer.

Based on the Gay (and now the Conley) signing, it has to be around $12 million a year. Minimum. Should get interesting to see how OJ and Marc perform this season.

I'm thinking $12 million as well, based more on Horford and Noah's contracts, though.

Memphis should be fined for stupidity for signing Conley for that much.

they simply have to MAX Gasol. And bring in Dleaguers to fill in the rest of the roster.

Just like with Pau.
Maybe your move is trading Marc Gasol to Miami for Joel Anthony.
