It was good to see Henry contribute but I noticed more than a couple times where he made a good move, but instead of taking the shot he looked for one of the starters to pass the ball to like he was deferring to them. But that's the kind of production off the bench they need.
Another DNP- coaches decision for Tonyy Allen. Have to wonder what's going on there.
What a bad move by Phoenix to take on Hedo Turkoglu rather than just hang onto Barbosa. If they thought he could somehow fill the scoring void left by Stoudemire they sorely misjudged that one.

I think that's just Xavier's mentality. Stems from being a role player at KU and will continue.
And Hollins needs to give those backup PG minutes to Allen (yes I know his handles suck and he's a natural SF) but Law sucks.

Re: Grizzlies vs. Suns
We need to figure out an offense we can run with TA out there where he literally doesn't need to make a decision or force a shot off penetration. He definitely struggles off the bounce. I think maybe we could have Rudy or OJ bring the ball up and set up the offense (when Mike is out) and just have anyone but Tony make a read on the offense and have TA crash the glass whenever a shot goes up or take the shot if he's wide open.
We'd be a lot better off with this kind of stopgap offense (rather than having Tony freestyle until he coughs up the ball). Then again, all that's probably easier said than done. I'm guessing TA has some pretty intense tunnel vision when he gets the rock.
Also, what the hell has been up with our fast-break lately. It started with Allen botching a number of them and it seems to have spread to the other players. We're usually a great fast-break team. Maybe teams are starting to defend it better/differently?

Re: Grizzlies vs. Suns
In the playoffs last year, Tony Allen was effective at driving to the basket on occasion. (and in college) Of course, he did not penetrate as often because he had Rondo to do that for him. He is most effective in a penetrate and kick scenario ala dribble drive offense such as the one Coach Cal has used. A problem with our guard play is that we have a tendency to force jump shots during certain stretches. (usually when we are playing poorly) And this does not really cater to TA's game at all.
